I figured I would keep all of the various header quotes I may install at the top of the webpage in one place, because, invariably, they are related to past content, or are particularly poignant and important to me… or possibly are just goofy. Published on July 27th, 2013:
“What is above all needed is to let the meaning choose the word, and not the other way about. In prose, the worst thing you can do with words is to surrender them.”
-George Orwell, “Politics and the English Language,” Page 18
Published on June 1st, 2013:
Albus P.W.B. Dumbledore: “After all this time?”
Severus Snape: “Always”
-J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Published on May 16th (-ish?), 2013:
“I’m looking for one.”
-Kyle Simerly
